I have never intentionally found a client on social media, but Facebook has a bad habit of suggesting them to me on the "people you may know" section since our phones are in close proximity 1-2 times a week.

i’ve 100% looked up my therapist, and have actually asked her if she’s ever looked me up 😆 she said no because of ethics but she does listen to my podcast!

yep. my psychatrist knows whats on my socialmedia. i have post traumatic stress dissorder. and she is fine with it. my post is like she can evaluemate. and when we meet we actually have small talk. about meds. etc. and last time. well. she said my mond is pretty normal. and that everyone is allowed to have emotions. you see. you can have a diagnose. but it does not mean you cant function well in society. what makes a person adecvate to society. is how he pr she acts. (obey laws, social and personal moral standards)

My therapist comes up on “people you may know” bc we apparently used to work together on the same unit of a psych hospital and we have hella mutuals😂 I never invaded her space though it’s a respect thing I have

Therapist here! No!!! Everyone has the right to their own life and there are things clients might not want us to know/ to see. If it’s important to them though, they can bring a post/message to session and we’ll discuss it together 🤍🥰
