This is genius! I’ve never thought of this! I’ve also used liquid latex on corners too before you paint then you can peel it up and it gives that chipped corner look! It’s good for small spots when you already know you want it there. ☺

The Enigma Zone :
To waste less metallic paint you could also use a sponge and a paper plate. Dab the sponge on the paper plate and thin out the paint a bit then scrape whatever spots you want.
