I think two things are true at the same time. Palestinians who have stayed steadfastly should be honored. They are incredibly strong and honorable. It is their land and they’re not leaving. 🙏 The Global Flotillas are bringing world wide awareness to how depraved the conditions are. They are there to help. It will always be about the people of Palestine. 🇵🇸❤️🙏🏼

I agree, but I also disagree. I have personally noticed way more people starting to care or speak out or really open their eyes since the flotilla. This is an amazing use of celebrity. I feel like we need to focus on how best to help and worry about recognition later.

It shouldn’t matter if they are influencers, we want them safe, we want the people on the ground safe. There is no need to criticize when we are both in our homes safe.

To be fair I had no eyeballs on the flotilla until spain and Italy accompanied. All the donations I’ve focused on has been for care workers in Gaza.

You are right. But it is a way to get them help. Idc why people want to change as long as they help. If having a celebrity as a shield works to keep the people of Gaza and the drs/ medical staff, journalists in Gaza alive. That is exactly what they should be doing. Break the blockade!!!
