All the female characters tbh. Then they turned around and made Shikamaru Hokage. It should’ve been Sakura next with Shikamaru as her right hand. Hokage was always the strongest not smartest.

Originally tsusnde was supposed to defeat three pains before Naruto got there but Kishi changed. Sakura on the ground crying for Naruto… just terrible writing

Tsunade used all her chakra to heal the villagers and was drained by the time Pain destroyed the village. Not to mention Tsunade doesn’t have sage mode which would be vital in taking down the Paths of Pain. Yes Tsunade had the resolve to still try and fight pain but she would’ve lost respectfully.

I think she couldve dealt with all of them simultaneously. The Deva & Naraka Path wouldve been the only giving her work at the end & Naruto wouldve came & cleaned up 💯
