Friendly crew. Once took a flight from Shangri-La to Kunming…. The ascent done fast , and due to I think high altitude and clouds , turbulence was rocky but since it was fast, lasted only a min or so. Beautiful area of China.

There is now railway and road between Lhasa and Sichuan. they cut thru the mountains. lots to see along the way. also allow time to adjust to high altitude
