@sevencleanseas: During a recent cleanup on the Chao Phraya River in #Bangkok, our HIPPO team pulled something unexpected out of the water: a bulky old Sony television set floating downstream. Electronic waste isn’t just heavy and awkward to remove, it’s also highly toxic. Left to break apart in rivers, it leaches harmful chemicals into the water, endangering marine life, local communities, and ultimately our ocean.
