Im Spain we had a moped very similar if not the same the make was Torrot and also a Puch .

trust me those engines are really reliable but if the moped stands long it could possible leak air into the combution chamber because of the old Ring type oil seals but they are easy to change 👍🏻

puch x40. got the same engine as the puch maxi, hero puch and many more, the E in E50 stands for Eins wich is german for one (E50 cause it has one gear) there is a z50 with two gears
