Currently going through this right now. I’ve gotten blood test and the results came back positive, doctors told me it was due to having Covid back in May. I’ve lost over 50% of my hair. What I’ve learned is that TE is temporary shedding and ur hair will grow back regardless if u do anytnjng or not.

Minoxidil changed my life. I was losing so much hair and the thought consumed my life. Started using minoxidil, pushed through the dread shed phase, and now I lose like 2-3 strands a day. Also I have a dog, but I just make sure to wash my hands thoroughly and it’s been fine.

Have you had your ferritin levels checked? Because if your ferritin levels are too low, your hair suffers immensely. For healthy hair, your ferritin levels should be between 80-100.

Babe have you been to the Dr you need bloodwork to find the cause everything else are bandaids I had the same thing happening my thyroid was really low & estrogen & progesterone

I went through something similar, and it’s slowly growing back. I’m taking iron, pumpkin seed oil and saw palmetto tablets once a day. Plus the two kerastase products are AMAZING! I’ve repurchased many times!

I’d really consult a dermatologist if you don’t already! Minoxidil is probably your best bet :) stronger and cheaper than the kerastase products. And derm approved!

Have you tried any products from Monat? They have a scalp comfort line and thinning defense serum plus a plant oil blend that’s great for scalp and had health.

I’m so sorry you’re going through it rn but I know that better days are ahead!
