older people have everything yet nothing at the same time. they used to be somebody with some type of title at one point in time. they retired or moved on to something else job wise, and technology, societal norms have shifted at such a rapid pace that they can't keep up with, and it passes them by faster than they can even see it. so they cling to anything they can get that feeling back of feeling like they are heard or exist or even feared. some take the mean route some take a different route. but most get bitter and angry.
