Harris is excellent on paper but she has a terrible political sense. She lost 2020 because she either didn't know who she was- although I find this less likely, or she was trying to be someone that she's not. She's not a liberal democrat, she's a moderate who was a tough on crime attorney general. It's part of why she lost 2024, she wasn't comfortable running as Kamala Harris, so she waffled between liberal and moderate policies that didn't make sense together.
