look, I'm a young dude and I think I lean more on the democrat side because I just think the things the entire party as a whole stands for is a good thing but I'm self aware enough to recognize that women and men may be equal, but we have our specific talents and what we are more tailored to do. we all have our specific roles in society. for instance, not everyone can be a billionaire, the harsh reality is there have to be those people who are less fortunate because if everyone was mega rich then nothing would be worth anything, and businesses would crumble as they don't have anyone to do the work. balance is the key and I feel like the "modern democrat" party are aiming for non issues instead of focusing on what matters. take Obama or Jimmy Carter. sure Obama did some questionable things during his presidency but so did everyone. I know I'm kinda ranting to nobody here but we gotta aim to rationalize and have good educational conversations across both sides of the political spectrum
