I adopted an Amazon parrot , I tried to bound with him for three weeks , first week I left him in the cage near me and two weeks I opened the cage for him , but every time I try to approach him he starts screaming and running away , or when I'm near the cage he gets away , what should I do 😩😩😩

I have a question! Have you developed any hearing issues being surrounded by so many loud birds?

Do you have experiences with budgies? I’ve had budgies my entire life and now for the first time (I’m 26 now) my family has a budgie that cannot fly anymore after being able to for four years. Not even her vet knows what’s wrong. She has hyperthyroidism, which we’ve successfully treated and continue to treat but we’re really out of ideas what to do about her flight issues. If you have any idea by chance and read this comment I’d be thrilled to hear your take! 🫶🏼

So agree!! Love this video! This is similar to how things started with my lovebird Buddy. She was super hormonal and I was triggering her without knowing and she would attack my ex partner or friends. But now I’ve had friends training g with her and limit preening and such (not perfect!) but aiming closer. It’s taken a lot of consistency. We make mistakes and just learn!! I’m so grateful that she’s seeing others as friends and people to train with! She’s obsessed with her training tricks and treats 🥰🙏🤣 👏👏 Thank you for this content!!!

You said this years ago and I trained this. When I say wing or tail she knows I'm touching her. Also taught her mouth, she keeps her mouth open and has used it at the vet. I left as a proud parrot owner. So thanks for the advice 🥰

Can you give me some advice, please?

I have a theory that my RFM was bonded with someone at his first home and will always pick a human. I know the rules and here I find myself the wife of a little green guy 😆 I did not perpetuate this at all, he’s just like this 🤷♀

Getting that bird explanation for missing those feathers... Thinking about our cockatiel rubbing himself on hemp rope every chance he gets because that "hits the right spot" 🥲😂
