I totally see how asking everybody what they think can get confusing, but at the same time it’s difficult doing hard things completely alone, learning to trust yourself while still having someone to talk to is such a tricky balance.. 😓

I’ve been doing that my whole career my last job they threatened me with my job so I quit on the spot because I trusted myself to make a big decision and that I do better elsewhere. I was making five figures at the prior job now I’m making over six figures because I didn’t ask anyone. I just trusted myself and went ahead.

The drawback to this mentality is that now you assume so many more decisions because it’s so easy to accomplish goals, complete projects and what seems as a more timely matter; and then the shit hits the fan and you find yourself alone with nobody else willing to make a decision because you now take that role. You have to split time, for example: Quiet time to self to accomplish tasks, reports, etc, time to accomplish team goals and work on future goals, time to train new staff, staff in new positions or roles, time to market or broadcast on socials, time to eat, time for a break to detox from group settings and understand proposals that have been suggested or require your approval. Now get up every day and do more!
