Also, the simple fact that if the officers are posing as cruisers and initiating cruising even, then this is entrapment, and it’s a dangerous precedent to allow to pass unopposed

As a queer man who's been out since I was 14, I never shame anyone for their choices. I may not appreciate them but that's their life and choices. In the meantime I've been ACTIVELY POSTING in my queer communities about this.

Cruising also has a long history in the gay male community and, honestly, the lack of knowledge and shame around this goes back to the large number of queer men we lost to HIV and AIDS and the history we lost with them. Police have always done things like this, and they were doing this back in the 70’s to cruising hotspots and gay bars
