Your intentions are lovely but please please please do more research on ofrendas. They aren’t decoration. Ofrendas have elements and dates for a reason. If the pictures you have up aren’t of people that are deceased you are inviting bad luck to em.

Señora, con todo el respeto que se merece, los altares no son decoración para una temporada. El altar se va construyendo en fechas determinadas y con sus respectivos atributos. Al ser tradición de todo un país, se debe respetar y conservar como es.

altar is not a decoration mam’, its a tradition that starts un november, it’s not just cempasúchil and candles, it has a lot more elements, and it’s not a an aesthetic decoration in pretty furniture, it’s made by levels, built of huacales, with traditional elements as calacas, mexican food, an much more, not an aesthetic decoration

lo artificial nunca va a reemplazar a lo natural, es una ofrenda en necesario porner elementos naturales como el agua, la sal, las flores de cempasúchil, las veladoras, etc. para que tenga un significado y no sea una simple decoración
