I had to learn that the hard way when I was already coping with complex PTSD & praying so hard to at least be a present parent to my sons.i couldn’t eat, sleep, or stop crying. But bills had to be paid football games had to be attended. Just because I was so broken and over it all didn’t mean I wanted to or meant to show it to my sons. Not because they didn’t care but because you can only be a child once & I loved them too much to feel my hurt.
