After the events of the first season, Denji, the protagonist, meets a mysterious girl named Reze who works at a café. A romantic bond begins to form between them, but it’s soon revealed that Reze is not an ordinary girl — she’s a bomb-devil hybrid sent with hostile intentions. This arc explores themes of trust, love, betrayal, and the conflict between humanity and duty, pushing Denji to make difficult choices. The film, titled “Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc”, is set to release in Japan on September 19, 2025, with international releases beginning in October.
