To the comments saying just prioritize yourself…it’s about the feeling of someone choosing you because they want to, not because they have to. Yes you can choose yourself all the time but it gets lonely and tiring. Let’s not invalidate that feeling of wanting someone in your community to prioritize you, whether that’s familial-, friendship-, or relationship-wise.
