I can’t believe ppl are still complaining about this like Covid, the writers/actors strike didn’t happen. And also not taking into account that filming takes a lot of time especially if the actors have other projects going on and scheduling conflicts arise. No one complains when a 2-3 hour movie takes 2 years to produce but strangers things is putting out 8 episodes that are an hour+ long. On top of that there’s set building/design, post editing and marketing. All this takes time. Also, let’s not forget that when the kids were minors, they could only be on set for so many hours a day. There is a lot of factors that go into making a series. I’d rather wait longer and have it be good than rush it and be disappointed cause it’s sh*t.

They’re straight wrong. There’s a very fine line between a show building optimal hype and people forgetting about it. Stranger things is an anomaly in that it won’t completely fall off after waiting years to release (likely because the show has always ran like that and the fans are willing to tank it for this specific series)
