Well let me explain why in my vision, Fukuzawa has Atsushi and now Dazai as his ‘sons’, Atsushi has Dazai and Fukuzawa as his ‘parental’ fighters. Then Mori here still wants Dazai back in the Mafia, Akutagawa was and will always be loyal to him even though Chuuya took him in after Dazai abondoned ALL of them, so in a way, Soukoko, more Chuuya tho, is the parental figure of Akutagawa. And Chuuya? He got no one who is his parental figure because they all are already dead and his son figure, Akutagawa, still wants Dazai and would rebound back to him without a second thought if he could.

Whatever they say, for me Shin soukoku will be the best duo in all of BSD. Although soukoku is a powerful and addictive duo, I personally think Shin Soukoku is better because of the development they have had throughout the series. Although Shin soukoku starts with a visceral hatred, through necessity, they learn to trust, understand each other and grow as individuals and as a team. Their power is in sync and they both made a promise that neither dared to break. Their loyalty was quite strong and Akutagawa proved it to Atsushi before fighting Fukuchi for the second time. They both cared for each other and sacrificed for each other so that they would survive. They save each other from their own hells. Atsushi gives Akutagawa a purpose beyond Dazai's approval, and Akutagawa pushes Atsushi to become stronger and more confident. I would really like Asagiri to strengthen this bond because I really love both of them. ☹️❤️‍🩹
