This is me teaching our friend Katie how to do the step method vs. the leg reach method. Both methods serve their purpose. 3 to 4 steps and you will have the perfect setup. Why the varying range in steps? Everyone has different leg lengths and foot lengths. Once you figure out the one that works best for you, it will be the same every time. For me and @katie_dlsantos, it’s 3.5 steps. The more popularized setup is quick and simple, but if you have a substantial amount of weight on you, standing up from that position just isn’t going to work that well.
