@lifeisshortlaughmorenow: I’ve decided not to wait until 65 to retire. After a surgery that nearly cost me my life, my perspective has completely changed. I’m retiring at 62 because the government owes me that money, and there’s no guarantee it will be around forever. Life is too short to gamble with time we don’t control. I believe everyone should retire as soon as they can, pick up a part-time job if needed, and make the numbers work for their freedom.#RetireAt62 #retirement #LifeLessons #LifeLessons
Why is everyone’s SS so low, I’m 64, retiring at 65 (next June), and my SS is 3100 a month, worked blue collar my whole life, I see a lot of these videos

If your bills are $4k a month and you bring in $3700 a month, you don’t have any extra money to be taking trips. What about medical insurance? Something is not mathing here.

Work under the table too. I know a retired nurse who Nannie’s 3 days a week and she tells the parents cash only. She gets SS and cash. Makes bank

For those of us that have a 401k, would any withdrawal from that count as income? I think yes but would value your insight 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

So they don’t take anything if you make < $23k? I have my military retirement, 401k - so this is like icing on the cake.
