China has rich culture and history. Mashallah. My parents says first Muslim are Chinese, probably because of silk road, and their society is much advance compare to Philippines tribal society and smaller islands and communities, hard to reach. America propaganda made me forget how young American country or civilization, founded by colonialism. It's amazing to think the history of mankind, from Adam a.s there's many empire and kingdom, billions of human, come and go. Yet some still believe there's no creator. Without God guidance, humanity will not survived for this long

In China, Islam is mostly just a label. People can’t freely practice their faith. Women aren’t allowed to wear the hijab, and many of my Hui friends said they’ve faced hate and even death threats for wearing one. Most Hui still call themselves Muslim but very few dare to live it openly. The same goes for the Uyghurs. People say “Uyghur ≠ Muslim,” but the truth is, many have been forced to abandon their beliefs and dress against their faith. Countless cases of discrimination are buried.
