For knowing the maximum size use your calculator like this: [your actual ram size] x 1024 x 1.5; after this setting your pc will shutdown very slow, for fixing this you need to go in regedit> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management and set ClearPageFileAtShutdown = 0. This is the complete tutorial for this setting

It's not a ram trick. You are just changing windows settings fkr windows to not process or load unnecessary style, looks, etc
