They didn’t have any build up at all. They’re like strangers. They see each other as their past selves. Belly said herself in the beach confession scene “you don’t even know me anymore” which is true. They don’t know each other anymore … I’ll never fathom how they wound up together. Especially SO quickly with 0 build up. The true love story will always be Jelly to me. They should’ve been endgame.🤷🏻♀

I think I liked being on team Jeremiah because it genuinely felt more real than Bonrad. All the characters are flawed, but with Jelly, it felt like they were moving forward in life at least. I don't get this romanticism of moving backwards with Bonrad. The necklace, and the childlike pjs, and the bear...just came off as weird to me.

I get that in theory the Bonrads “won” but it really feels like Jere came out on top this season. His character had so much growth in the last two episodes, he has an exciting new career, and a potential fling, or at least a very good friend, who sees him for who he is and doesn’t compare him to his brother. Jere is left with so much potential and excitement, his future feels infinite. I mean I guess Conrad got the girl, but she’s the girl who almost married his brother and who will always hold a special place in her heart for him. It just feels like Bonrad is weighed down by their past while Jere’s future is limitless.

It's complicated for me because I absolutely agree that Jeremiah actually ended in a pretty good place whilst Belly and The Dementor were done majorly dirty and I don't really get how their fans can be happy with that ending and this season overall. That said, I was kind of only invested in Jeremiah and his journey and didn't really care about the actual triangle or Belly getting together with Twink Eyeore in the end so I'm actually pretty happy with the ending. I guess the Bonrad ending for me is kind of like seeing a car crash in the other side of the highway just before I turn off. Sucks for them I guess but what can I do?

And on top of all of that, they tried to minimize the jelly relationship in order to emphasize that this relationship was supposed to be better, but like how??why? I had to take a break. I’ll finish that later.

As a Jeremiah stan, Belly choosing herself should have been the only acceptable ending. The fact that her lame postcard reply didn’t send Conrad back to therapy says it all.

That's just it Conrad doesn't even know who Belly is as an adult. He's fixated on her from the past to the point of having a unhealthy obsession with. He wants who she used to be not who she currently is right now. There was no build up, no budding friendship, no nothing. As a Jelly stan I would've rather seen Belly choose herself than to end back up with her stalker.

The problem is because they didn’t develop bonrad with the show, what they should’ve done is leave the show on a cliffhanger of sorts, to lead for the movie. We got 2 season of belly and jere, and 1/2 ep of bonrad. They essentially wrapped it up in the show and the movie seems like a cash grab of sorts. Nothing in the show makes general viewers NEED to watch a movie. And with the movie (supposedly) not even filmed yet? Oh that’s gonna tank. They should’ve made the movie and announced the date, a day or week after the show ended, while the hype is at its peak

how are they going to give him that “i’ve changed everything about myself” line and then not show us anything to prove that? they added a whole three episode’s worth of post-wedding, show-only content and they had more than enough time to give us LITERALLY ANYTHING
