Loco Moco au Poivre 😍 My take on Hawaiian loco moco but with a French au Poivre sauce twist! INSTRUCTION: Patty: - 1 kg ground beef - 1 cup breadcrumbs - 2 eggs - 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce - 1 tbsp onion powder - 1 tbsp garlic powder - 1 white onion, diced - 1 cup of milk - Salt & pepper to taste - Oil for frying Gravy: - white onions, sliced - 6 cloves garlic, sliced - 2 cups button mushroom, sliced - ⅓ cup of green pepper, strained - 4 cups of beef stock - 1 cup of all purpose flour - 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce - 1 tbsp whole grain mustard - 2 tbsp ketchup - 2 tbsp soy sauce - Salt & pepper to taste Toppings: - 1 fried egg - Rice 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦: - In a large bowl combine all ingredients listed for hamburger patties. Shape into patties of desired thickness. - On a high heat fry patties for about 2-3 mins on each side or until a nice crust forms or until cooked through - Chop your vegetables (onions, garlic and mushrooms). Transfer into the same pan used to fry the patties. Saute until vegetables are slightly browned. Add in flour and cook for about 1 min then pour in beef stock. Add in ketchup, worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, whole grain mustard, and green pepper.
