interesting, but it seems a bit clunky to have to write out every time just to subtract. maybe it has other applications too?

Int of f(x) from a to b = F(b) - F(a) because f(x) = 1, the constant rule tells us F(x) = x, Therefore the integral is just computing F(b) - F(a) which becomes (b-a)

ur taking the integral of the y = 1 line which is a horizontal line. now when adding bounds like 4 and 7. ur telling it to get area of rectangle length 4 and same for 7. so area(4) - area(7) = area(-3) even tho area can’t be negative
