Does almond paste/marzipan typically have rose water in it in Sweden? I really want to make you toscakaka recipe because it looks so good, but you can only get ready to roll marzipan that doesn’t have much almost and has way too much sugar in it in the uk. So I want going to make my own because it’s expensive to order online but the recipes all say add rose water as well as almond extract. So does the paste you use normally have it in or can I leave it out?
