I was a size 12 through most middle school and high school in the early 2000s. I felt like a heifer most the time as he it didn't help that my mom and grandma would tell me that I'd be so pretty if I lost weight 🥺

Gen Xer here and the lowest size I have ever been was a women's size 10. Even as a child. No wonder I had an eating disorder at age 10 and an exercise

I was down to 115 lbs in the summer of 2023. I’m 5’5. I was getting dangerously skinny just from stress and ADHD meds. I switched meds and suddenly am up to 140. I’m not entirely thrilled with my body now, but at least I know it’s healthier at 140 than it was at 115.

Candace Cameron Bure was on Pod Meets World and they talked about it because they brought up the episode in Full House where DJ stopped eating. It's tough out here as a millennial woman because one day you love your body the next day old trauma comes back.

As someone who is "properly fat" and is very much plus-sized, the body shaming of ANYONE is completely unacceptable. If you're fat, you're horrible, if you're skinny, you're horrible....it's got to stop

I’m literally her doppelgänger. Let me tell you now… I was not considered attractive at school bc I was “thick”. Now? Now ppl are like “wow you were everyone’s first crush” umm didn’t feel that way
