Roll out each dough until it is about 5 mm (0.2 in) thick. 2. Cut them into equal-width rectangles. 3. Layer the rectangles on top of each other before slicing. Place the slices on top of a black base sheet that is 1 mm (0.04 in) thick. 4. Cover with another sheet, pressing gently. Repeat. 5. Rotate the pasta block and cut 5 mm (0.2 in) thick slices. 6. Place the slices side by side.
