@hoovesofunitedsanctuary: THIS IS IT FOR THEM.. Today we have the chance to intercept the horses who need us. To keep them off the wrong trailer. To get them seen by the vet. Feed them. LOVE THEM. See them for who they are and not what they are. We have the trailers. We have the team. We have the ability to step in and say NOT TODAY-|just need my ASIAB community to feel the same way I do- to RALLY! PLEASE SHARE THIS POST! I don't go to take horses away from families. I go to make sure the families don't end up with a crippled horse. A horse that can hurt their kids. A horse that needs the vet and most likely anyone there isn't buying a horse to pay vet bills. To pay training bills. To pay hospital bills because their kid is now hurt. It's about protecting EVERYONE, horses and human. People don't know what they don't know. I didn't know what I didn't know and my mom's boyfriend was almost killed because someone KNOWINGLY sold me a horse that knew how to rear over backwards and fall over on themselves.They knowingly watched me load him in the trailer and drive off - my issue now. Well that wipe the hands clean mentality almost KILLED SOMEONE. THAT is what can happen at the auction. The question I always ask is WHY IS THE HORSE THERE. It can be as simple as not being able to afford them anymore - to as complicated as crippled, dangerous, counterfeit (meaning humans failed the horse and the horse knows how to intentionally hurt humans now), sick, wild, too slow, etc. It's the WHY I am after.
