i love seeing anime get his huge but im a little salty its demon slayer one of the weakest storylines of new gen imo. i have a feeling the next anime that might get this big of a movie will be when black clover comes back and if they make a movie

I watched Superman. It was okay not bad, but nothing new. Demon Slayer, on the other hand, isn’t even a comparison. The art, symbolism, and emotional connection you feel with the characters are on a completely different level. I’ve never seen an anime with this much detail and beauty in its art. That’s why, in my opinion, Superman doesn’t really deserve to make that much money.

Superman made over $350 million in US, Demon Slayers is about $120 million in US as of now. US is running out of ideas and origina, world wide is exhausted of US movies.

There’s like 20 superman movies. Only one anime movie with such good animation and in its conclusion arc. It’s not surprising at all that it surpassed midman.

There is nothing to understand. Demon slayer is just the best animation of our generation. I can guarentee, as a viewer, it’s not the storytelling or the plot, the themes are telegraphed (they literally say how they are feeling in any given moment), but the animation is the best the world has ever seen

Plus the 2D animation look has the most life. In the US we’re always getting 3D because it’s cheaper. Ppl prefer the 2D animation style and plus anime has fantastic storytelling 🥰
