Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 will not be nominated because it is not worthy of nomination. It is insanely boring, lacks anything memorable, and does nothing unique or original. I could give the original KCD the benefit of the doubt because its setting was uniquely grounded for a medieval game, but I’m not extending that to KCD2.

I was rooting for DKB but lowkey this year is way too stacked. DKB is fantastic but this is another year full of groundbreaking games. It's similar to the Spiderman 2 situation from 2023. Great game! Maybe in any other year it could win. But fighting against games that literally are breaking records.
