What if one doesn’t go away? There’s one dark spot in my vision that has been persistent for months almost center in my left eye and it’s kind of freaking me out 😅

I had a gnat problem this summer and when I got rid of them finally I kept seeing floaters because I kept thinking I was seeing the gnats 😭

I'm a -7 (OD) and -12 (OS). I've had faint floaters since I was very young. I wanted to go to Optometry school but thought I had to have 20/20 vision. Thanks for this- Yesterday, I noticed "gnats" and realized they were new floaters. Making an appointment tomorrow.

Thanks for the info! What do you recommend as regular eye health/exams? For someone who’s never seen an optometrist or had any eye exam before, I don’t know where to begin.
