@thehumblepescatarian: Tins Made Tasty - Autumn Comforts Edition: Caramelised Apple Crumble 🍏 A proper easy autumn classic that feels nostalgic and homely. Using tinned apples makes it quicker, cheaper, and fuss-free - no peeling, no coring, no waste. This is the kind of pud that can feed a family who are budgeting. Ingredients (serves 4): 1 large tin apple slices 75g rolled oats 50g butter (cold, cubed) 50g brown sugar (plus 1 tbsp extra for the fruit) 1 tsp cinnamon Method: Preheat oven to 190°C (fan 170°C). Spread the drained apples in the dish. Sprinkle with 1 tbsp brown sugar and a pinch of cinnamon for a caramelised flavour boost. In a bowl, rub the butter into the oats, sugar, and cinnamon with your fingertips until you have a crumbly (a few bigger clumps are fine - they’ll crisp up nicely). Scatter the crumble topping evenly over the apples. Place in the oven for 25–30 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the apples are bubbling at the edges. Budget notes: 🍏Tinned apples are cheaper than fresh (especially out of season) and mean no waste. 🏠Mostly uses store cupboard usuals 👩🏻🍳Perfect for batch cooking: make double the crumble topping, freeze half, and you’ve got a pudding shortcut ready to go. #applecrumble #cookwithme #cooking #5ingredients #EasyRecipes

My favourite creator and always an instant like 🥰🥰. This would be lovely with all sorts of tinned fruits but at this time of the year also with wild blackberries. I like to pretend I’m keeping it healthier by having custard instead of cream 😂😂😂

Apple crumble is my favourite thing ever. But it has to be with custard! Or ice cream. Or maybe both. Or with neither, always delicious 😋
