I would not buy an advantage plan. I billed Medicare for 7.5 years.

I just got my letter. This is insane. So im going to loose all my doctors if i need a new network. I just got in with these providers it took years ! What about us who have chronic illnesses and can’t have gaps in care! My doctors don’t accept the other plans in the area. Becoming a new patient somewhere else will take months. I will go without medication. This is unacceptable.

I live on widows SSI I paid in for 45 years and I can barely make it. I’m 64 and turning 65 in June boy did I pick a year to sign up for Medicare? Do you know of any plans that cover mental health? I see a psychologist and a counselor I’m trying to go with ABG possibly a long-term care do you think this would fit my needs?

In St Louis PPOs are still around but the HMOs still are a better choice. All hospitals in network for major carriers. No referrals. Yes prior authorizations but I have that now with my group coverage. It's an individual choice but with supplements getting so costly along with high premium pdps Advantage Plan are a good alternative.

Getting ready to go on Medicare in Feb. My former employer provides its own "advantage" plan through Aetna. It's a huge system so I hope it stays around awhile.

I was talking to my Gastro before my procedure last week...Doctors are aware that things are bad..he said it's only going to get worse. How do we live in a Country, a Society that treat the Sick, Disabled and elderly this way? And it's not just Healthcare but we are overlooked when it comes to many Social Services and Public Benefits. It seems to me that it is more difficult to be eligible when you DON'T have the ability to earn an income.

Cannot say that enough!! Review your Annual Notice of change!!! If a beneficiary is on a PPO that is terminating they will have an option for either a guaranteed issue into a medicare supplement or can pick another medicare advantage plan!
