kinda unrelated.. I caught pneumonia last year and I missed like a week of work because I couldn't breathe properly.. I told my boss why I was so slow and why I missed a lot of work because he was getting kinda antsy with my work ethic.. he ended up firing me abruptly and I was supposed to get 8 weeks worth of wages, but since I was sick for a week (it was calculated by the past 8 weeks before I got fired) I was only paid for 7 weeks..
