On the flip side, it’s ppl who get exiled from the group, cause they are so low on the hierarchy. To the rest of the group, they feel like the friend is a liability & is pointless include them. Good example, would be the ugly friend. If the group is going out, & wanna pick up dates, it would be harder for the ugly friend to participate, which the group feels like they have to sacrifice their fun for them, so the ugly friend doesn’t feel left out. Over time they slowly leave them out, & respect them less cause of that. The respect drops so low that they cut them off completely
