@ryancrowder84: ⸻ ⚠️ Some of you may think this doesn’t belong on social media — and most times, I’d agree. But silence allows cycles of hurt, brokenness, and sin to continue unchecked. If we claim to follow Jesus, then we must follow His standards, not our own. 📖 God’s Word says: “What God has joined together, let no man separate.” Separation is not divorce in the eyes of God. And while papers may have been filed, I made a covenant — before God — to love, protect, and fight for my marriage through sickness and health, good times and bad. 💔 I took responsibility for my toxic behaviors. I confessed, repented, and allowed God to change me. But while I was seeking God, she ran from accountability, left the church, and chose another man’s bed. And let me be clear: the covenant vow was broken the moment you gave yourself to another man. That was the hardest truth I’ve ever had to face as a husband. I was mocked, lied about, and betrayed. I saw my character attacked and my children hurt in the process. And yet, I stayed. I prayed. I fasted. I interceded for reconciliation. I forgave. 👉 But sin will always take you further than you want to go, keep you longer than you want to stay, and cost more than you ever thought you’d pay. I can forgive, but I cannot ignore what God calls sin. You can paint me as the villain, twist stories, and gather people against me — but the truth is simple: the covenant was severed the moment another man entered your life in that way. 🙏 I still plead the blood of Jesus over my life, my children, and even over her. But I will no longer stand still while my heart, my family, and my calling are attacked. I am moving forward with God’s plan, and I will not let the enemy stop me. 💡 If you love someone, tell them the truth in love. Don’t enable their sin. Don’t stay silent out of fear. Real love is willing to confront, to rebuke, to call someone back to God’s Word. Anything less is not love at all. Yes, I’m hurt. Yes, I’m heartbroken. But I also know this: if I can love the wrong person this much, imagine how much I will be able to love the right person — the one God truly has for me. I forgive. I release.
