Yep. Even the "Trunk or Treat" events that churches do. They justify it by saying "It gives kids somewhere to go instead of trick or treating." I'm like.... "You're still dressing up. You're still participating in the "night" ... "

I have a sincere ? I understand as Christian’s we should not celebrate Halloween… but I am wondering why most churches do what they call a Fall Festival & They do Trunk or Treats to me that is still celebrating Halloween? Is it not?

We dress up is cute onsies, and pass candy out to the kids (while we pray for them as they are trick or treating) we buy our kids candy and they help us pass it out. I’ll be a small light in the darkness where I can. I’m not participating in evil but I’m trying to shine some light and praying for them as well.

This is a tough one for my family. I don’t like Halloween or think we should celebrate with our kids . Unfortunately my husband thinks it’s harmless. I hate when this time comes around. Please keep my family in prayer and a change of heart for my husband to stand with me as a unit to explain why we shouldn’t to our kids. 😔
