As a Catholic, he did not represent our views. How can a man who speaks with so much hate and racism represent Christianity. I have my beliefs but I will not impose that on others as he wanted to politically do. I could never judge someone based on skin color or say a woman didn’t have the mind capacity to be in their positions. Idk what type of Christians followed him but he didn not represent all of us

1. racist, sexist, and hateful ideologies are not what jesus taught. that’s all charlie preached. so no, his beliefs were not straight from the bible. 2. considering charlie had a very specific stance on gun control and the bible also says nothing about the right to own weapons, i don’t think his opinion on guns (that ultimately led to him getting shot) was biblical at all! so again, wrong!
