My grandmother had Wegners when I was very young and she lived to 83! She did all the treatments and everything and she recovered very well. Sorry you have to deal with this daily ❤

I did ivig for 11 years, but they recently came out with a new injectable medication for my autoimmune. People would ask me all the time if I would have to have infusions my whole life. Now I do a quick 90 second injection myself instead of 40 grams of ivig for 3 days every 19 days.

Thanks for sharing, you’re a star and make me laugh so much. I’ve wondered in the past but didn’t want to pry. I’m currently in the autoimmune diagnostic endless tunnel (deada** in the cardio waiting room rn) and I swear I just read about this disease bc of a positive ANCA test. What timing! 💙

Followed you for Taylor Swift videos but thank you for sharing this. Invisible chronic illness awareness is so important. My son is a childhood cancer survivor and faces similar issues post cancer. I became a regular blood donor after donations saved his life during high dose chemo. Glad blood donors are able to help you also ❤️🩹

Goodness. This is so much to take on at 14 years old. I can’t imagine the gravity of it at that age.

OMG! I was diagnosed with Wegeners when I was 14 also!!! The pain was horrible. I hope you’re doing well now! I ended up needing a kidney transplant due to the difficulties associated with it.

I’m 38 and have EGPA and immunodeficiency disorder. I take rituxin every 6 months and IVIG monthly. Rituxin wipes my immune system to where I need the IVIG (I had pneumonia for 8 weeks last time I got sick) but without the rituxin, I can’t breathe and end up hospitalized. I was diagnosed with the EGPA at 34.

SCIG buddies! Mine is for a very different but also super rare autoimmune disorder. Also switched from the IV and it’s so much better. There is an AMAZING Facebook group for SCIG and IVIG.

I have to say thank you! From watching this video and reading the comments, I was able to find a condition that my son has had for 16 years. We were literally celebrating last night to have a real answer. It has answered so many question and made so much sense for what he was dealing with his whole life! Thank you!! ❤️❤️❤
