Read Behold a Pale Horse if you haven't, you can find the original version as a PDF online including the original chapter "The Protocols of the Elders of Z**n" that has been removed from the revised newer version. I definitely recommend it.

studied comm in college and was blessed to been taught comm theories. I taught my kids - and anyone else I discussed this with - that WE try to classify content as either entertainment or educational and then attempt to explain a difference. but there is no switch that flips when you go from childhood to adulthood and most people just don't recognize the ways what our eyes see become meshed into our lived experiences and impact our judgement/lives. to our brain, there is no difference between sesame street and crime tv. IT'S ALL THE SAME.... EDUCATION.
