But what drives me crazy is seeing companies slap pink ribbons on products loaded with toxic ingredients, pretending they’re supporting the cause. Come on, we deserve better! This kind of thing is called pinkwashing, a form of greenwashing where brands make themselves appear caring or eco-friendly, when in reality, their actions don’t align with their message. It happens way too often in October. Don’t buy into it! If you really want to support breast cancer awareness, look for organizations where proceeds genuinely support research—because that’s what’s needed most!
