Past Glasgow :
Beamish was everywhere in the 90s. Celebrated the end of my exams in 1997 with a pint of Beamish Red in the GUU Beer Bar, which also sold Beamish Black. Presume the latter was marketing patter for the original stout.

Eh, no. You can get Beamish in Seamus’s Pub on Brougham Place in Edinburgh. Also, Murphy’s is a better pint.
