So, you have to change your mind and believe? Isn’t that doing something? Isn’t believing in your heart that Jesus was raised from the dead on the 3rd day and act of us? Isn’t the act of believing an act on our part? Jesus said in Mathew 7:21 that only the ones who do the will of God will enter heaven. All of these sermons do nothing but push me further from all of this.

To love is to give!! For God so loved the world that He gave. Jesus loved those that God gave him so much that He gave His life. Jesus asked Peter do you Me? Then feed My lambs. Peter was commanded to give to the lambs of Jesus.

Plethora of verses that talk about exchanging your life for his. You do have to do something. You have to repent and believe the gospel. Repentance is the first step but naturally heretics won’t preach that.

Please don't confuse us. To say give your life to Christ does not negate the work of God in Christ. it is just language. No Christian thinks it means we are giving God anything.
