This is not veiled blackmail. It's clear to everyone who is dismantling Medicare and Medicaid. It's like a firefighter putting out a fire with gasoline. People should have a conscience and serve the state and the US Constitution, not be mindless tools in the hands of the president. I believe the president has the talent to negotiate and solve this problem. We need to reach an agreement. While the shutdown is absolutely worrysome and it’s creating a mess, please don’t fall with his extremist narrative. This is not the first time this happened and people wasn’t laid off before. It’s both sides fault and Trump admin wants to put all the blame in one side. They want to use this to also justify all the layoffs and people loosing their livelihood.
