We actually met at church — which sounds super wholesome, right? But here’s the truth: I wasn’t exactly there to get saved that day… I was just trying to get a little closer to them. I figured, if I can’t find love in God’s house, where can I? Anyway, I saw them across the aisle, Bible open, halo practically glowing — meanwhile, I’m over here pretending I know every verse like, ‘Ah yes, Corinthians… 1 or 2, whichever one Jesus wrote.’ When it came time for the ‘turn and greet your neighbor’ part, I turned real quick — like, this is my holy moment. I stuck out my hand and said, ‘Peace be with you… and also your number?’ We ended up talking after service, and the rest is history. So technically, we met in God’s house — I just didn’t expect Him to answer my prayer that fast!
