We are bigggg on setting expectations before we go into any store/outing, I swear it helps like 80-90% of the time. My youngest isn’t 2 yet so he’s barely getting it but one day 😂

Under the arm screaming and kicking… I feel this. My almost 2 year old gets this often because he’s in this scream and throw himself backwards stage when he doesn’t get his way and he can’t verbally communicate fully yet so he’s very frustrated at the same time. I’m just like dude. Come on.

SAME. My kids are almost all grown now… and everyone used to tell me how well behaved my kids were… obviously they didn’t see the meltdowns… but one rule I’ve always had… you don’t have to be the smartest but you will be the most well mannered and behaved.

My mom had 3 girls and when I had my son and now that my son is 6 years old she tell me how do I do it cuz he’s all over the place yelling he is well behaved with me nd dad but once he see grandma and grandpa it’s a whole different thing but kids will be kids and we have to let them be cuz this world is different now a days 🥰🙏🏻

With my boys we talked to them about you are allowed to have meltdowns but we are to act a certain way in public and we handle our emotions at home or in private and not in a public setting.
