He ended up changing it (I’d hope) is ‘cause twists like that are almost universally hated by audiences…it’s the equivalent of ending a movie with “it was all a dream!” See how Simpsons fans react to skinner being revealed to be Tamzarian…mad men jumping the shark when Draper revealed to not be the real Don…no one likes these lol
